I just can’t seem to update this as often as I mean to.  But anywho, here are a few picks of the last 2 months…

St. Patty’s Day:

Fun Nephews:

Royce road all around the mall like this waving at everyone…

Now, he’s just chillin’ eating a cookie.

Chubby babies…

My birthday and snow :(, but at least cool pictures get taken in the snow…

100_3930

I still just can’t believe that it snowed the night before and the day of my birthday, and I was left with about 5 inches of snow to deal with.  And then 2 days later it  was 60 degrees and sunny, and warm enough to take the dogs for a walk.  Silly…

The one group picture we took in Lincoln before the cameras died…

Notice the scarves…what’s up with the cold weather!?

100_3982

This one sort of worked at the Q… and then the camera was dead for real.

More fun nephews:

Royce likes to wears other peoples shoes now.  Although he hasn’t quite figured out how to wear flip-flops…

I love the way he smiles!  Just like my sister and I do.  It’s the Ott side of the family.

100_3991

He’s just so grown up!

100_3992

It amazes me how much kids can change in 2 months.  Look how big Brody is!  He can sit up by himself now!

100_3996

You have to ignore the drenched, stretched out onesie.  It’d been a long slobbery day.

Just look how sweet this little chunk is!

I love those little guys!

Anywho, that’s about what I’ve been up to!

I have a few more posts to add this evening, so I hope everyone enjoys looking at something different!  I really do need to get more consistent in updating this.  I apologize, I’m just too busy sometimes!  (and lazy…but that’s cool!)

Reason’s to like Fall…

September 14, 2008

Now, I’m typically a Spring and Summer person, but I will say that I do enjoy Fall (more than Winter-although snow is great-I just hate being cold!), I just don’t like things dying around me and cold weather.  But some reasons I can think of to enjoy Fall are leaves changing colors and Football games (mostly tailgating).  These are about all the reasons I can come up with though. I realize it’s not exactly fall yet, but here are some pics of the first football game:

Jill with her wonderful teal cup! I only made fun of her a little for the color of her cup!

I’m not as good at taking pictures of myself as I used to be.  I used to be able to center it perfectly every time!

There, that’s a little better!

My girls.  Yes, I’m holding a teal cup too!  I decided that it actually was a good idea.  And we made Edith take one.  She was a little reluctant, but finally caved.

So by this point, it’s probably about 5 in the evening/afternoon.  I always wonder exactly when afternoon turns into evening.  I think 5pm starts evening time, but I’m willing to discuss it.  Anyway, this guy was completely passed out on the stone fence at 5pm.  Nice… that’s all I have to say about that.

Mr. and Mrs. Casey and Katie Wallace (they’ve been married for 1 week in this pic) 🙂

Casey (making a funny face) and Luke, not paying attention.

Meghan and her Dad, Mike

It takes a lot of teamwork to get beer from one part of the stadium to the other.

But it was a fun day, and another reminder why drinking all day is not a good idea.  Thank god for taxi cabs…

We’re CRAZY beaders…

July 28, 2008

So, it’s the yearly cabin trip, right?  And now, we decided that we need to be crafty in addition to the drinking and having fun.  Well, as usual, we all got a little carried away (not with the drinking, we actually hardly drank at all, but we DID get very carried away with the crafting).

Yes, those are tons of necklaces, bracelet, anklets, and pins!

Yes, those are tons of necklaces, bracelets, anklets, and pins!

I counted 25 necklaces, 5 or 6 bracelets, 1 anklet, and 10 pins.  Oh, and 1 key chain!  Wow!  We ARE crazy!

But there was non-crafty fun too…
  Getting ready for the walk...
Here we are getting ready for the walk.  Josie all ready to go in her reflective pouch.
The 2nd round of jewelry making…

Just look how happy this girl is!

This is by far my favorite photo from the weekend.  Or at least the one that makes me laugh the hardest.  Annie would not look at me to take the picture, so Cat is trying to force her to look at me.

The girls sitting on the rock with our names carved in it.

The rock of names... The rock of names.

Just added "Jos 08"
Just added “Jos 08”  The first graffiti Joslin has been a part of.  Hopefully this will not set her up for a life of crime… But leave it to her crazy aunts to be the first to subject her to this lifestyle…
But it was a great, relaxing weekend, and another perfect reminder to myself that I have the best friends a person could ever ask for.
